Line 3:
The railway is Immersive Railroading standard gauge (1.435m) with a loading gauge of 3m by 5m.

As of 2913/013/22,23 the railway is unopened and is still under construction.

LocomotiveLocomotives are to be custom made by ZeBoss07 and built at the Locomotive and Carriageworks in New Ruhr

The railway is planned to be automated with augments and opencomputersOpenComputers software, and will provide a fast, automated and free service to travel to most places on Elysia.

GER utilises a so called “Small Engine Policy”; That is, the GER understands that trains will be short and thus light, and therefore only uses smaller 3 axle engines (with one exception), as opposed to larger 4 or 5 axle locomotives such as those used by ARC. Locomotives are based off Ramsbottom and Webb era LNWR stock, acquiring the same names of the real life locomotive classes.

GER was originally planned to open in December 2023/January 2024. However the breakout of the Aevumite-Novaterra War stalled construction of Critical infrastructure and the opening was delayed.

It was then later discovered that the automation script required could not effectively restart after a server reboot (which occur every 4 hours to prevent lag). This is a major issue as it rendered automation infeasible until resolved. An update to solve this is currently in the works.

After the script is complete, and 1.4.1 is out adding new rolling stock, trial automation with one train along the Main Line will begin, allowing a full return trip every 15 mins. This will be decreased as more trains are rolled out onto the line.
