The Dark era is the third and current period in Elysia MC. It is signified by the launch of Neil's third server as well as stagnated activity and growth. This was also followed by a lack of innovation.
Usually active JellienSquidward and Prellit had decreased activity a lot on Elysia MC due to them being admins on Neil's server.
Additionally, FlopsyMC had accidently cleared the inventory of everyone online at the moment of incident, leading to a lot of progress being lost.
There was a small rise in activity following the Westportian Crisis.
After this, many players felt that there was little left to do, and that the server was overloaded due to recent updates, making Elysia nearly unplayable.
An upgrade on the server allowed playability and some players rejoined.
