The Elysian Development Index, abbreviated EDI, is a measure about how developed a country is. It measures three scales, called "developments". It measures industrial growth "industrial development", civil rights and foreign policy "social development", and the economy and technology "technological and commercial development".
It was created on the 5th of May, 2023, by Daysant, and has since been updated twice.

Index calculation

The index is based off 36 multiple choice questions. Each answer gives a certain amount of points, with higher points generally being more developed. All answers either give no points or one point, with some answers giving half a point.
Each development is given a subscore, which is the total points divided by twelve. The final index is calculated by getting the sum of the three development's points, and dividing it by 36.
The index is divided into five brackets, very low, low, average, high, and very high.
