One particular reason was that Novaterra had aims to become the undisputed superpower on the server. Unfortunately, back then, Elementia was the current superpower with significantly more people, land, and resources. Novaterra threatened Elementia's position with the establishment of the Novaterran Armed Forces and New Ruhr. Novaterra had also began producing large amounts of weapons and war vehicles.

Views on Penis Country[edit | hide | edit source]

There has been strong anti-sentiment towards Penis Country, and especially JellienSquidward, especially from Farlandia and Novaterra. The reason for this is not currently well known, but it is a major reason as to why World War One happened. Penis Country was also responsible for the theft and crashing of Farlandian aircraft.

Declaration of War[edit | hide | edit source]

At 18:10 BST, 06/10/2022, Novaterra declared war on Penis Country backed by the UON. Penis Country was also backed by the PLVE.
War was declared by ZeBoss07, with the following quote.

“This is a new world age: industrialism and automation rule the day.

Yet a nation hinders this by hindering our allies.
The dictatorship that is Penis Country will not be tolerated any longer, with their threats towards Farlandia, and the destruction of a Farlandian aircraft.
We, The United Overworld Nations, officially declare war [on Penis Country].
War is a step to peace, and a step we must take.
So we march;
We sound the drums of war;

We go to war today!”

Rack-dorn put themselves "on high alert". They were on a defensive contract with Penis Country for two days.
daysant had sent an ultimatum to Viridis to not attack or else Viridis will be sacked. In return, GetShrekked (the leader of Viridis) responded:

“I say screw off or we will blow you to fucking hell.”

First Battles and UON's defeat[edit | hide | edit source]

The first battle in World War One took place at Point Blank. Several troops of the UON did not fight, and others did not listen to what they were told, which ended up in a humiliating defeat for UON.

The second battle took place at Farlandia. The result was not clear as both banners had been destroyed, and it was decided that the fight be a draw.

Invasion of Penis Country[edit | hide | edit source]

This fight was on 09/10/2022, and launched from Farlandia into western Penis Country. At first, it again was not clear which banner was first broken or the legitemacy of such actions, and a rematch was held. In the rematch, the UON destroyed the Penis Country banner and replaced it with their own, being the first success in WW1 from the UON. This battle was criticised due to the fact JellienSquidward was against five other people, however, Novaterra defends this with the situation at the first battle for Point Blank, where ZeBoss07 fought four other people alone.

The next battle was a defeat for UON. UON utilised the fortress made by Jellien at West PC but improved it, moving the flag inside and adding an AA gun on top. The PVLE fort was an underground labyrinth incorporating nearby caves. Jellien began the attack in an A6M Zero fighter plane, and was shot down by AA manned by ZeBoss07. Meanwhile, Flopsy entered the maze and began to attempt to locate the flag. Jellien then attempted to climb the long ladder up to UON's flag, however this was made impossible by ZeBoss07's punch II bow, which kept knocking him off. Jellien then gathered blocks and began to pillar up behind the ladder. This was a fatal design flaw of the fort, as there was no trapdoor to look behind the ladder, and jellien's nametag blended in with the cobblestone floor. ZeBoss07 climbed down the ladder slightly to look for Jellien, and fell off, dying. This allowed Jellien to take the flag and recapture the area, before flopsy could navigate the maze.

The Vasti "Revolution" and the Betrayal of D4rkVortex[edit | hide | edit source]

After the beginning of the invasion of PC, D4rk revolted against the Vasti government and sided with PVLE, betraying UON in the process.

It would later be revealed that this was simply a ploy to get Vasti members from 1.6 to play again

The banning of Imanbrooks and Peace[edit | hide | edit source]

Imanbrooks was banned multiple times during WW1, culminating in him being perma-banned for utilising an alt called Hudson_the_robot.

This lead to both sides suing for peace due to there being no reason to fight, as Iman was the driving force behind aggression in the war.

As a result, the only territory lost was point blank, now belonging to PVLE. Despite this, as of 7/1/23, 3 months later, the damage to the fortress has not been repaired.
