Westportia is a Novaterran protectorate at the eastern edge of the Dark Sea. It declared independence from Novaterra after disputes on ownership and freedom within the region.

The territory in which is now Westportia was founded under the Novaterran banner as New Melbourne. The exact date is not known.
FlopsyMC was eventually given governate status in New Melbourne. Eventually, he declared independence from Novaterra, forming a new state, Westportia.
At 22:10 UTC±0 15/02/2023, xClavice declared independence from Westportia. After a misunderstanding by D4rkv0rtex, FlopsyMC appointed him leader of the country, and xClavice immediately ceased all relations to the Second World War. However, daysant had annexed Westportia back into Novaterra as New Melbourne.
After weeks of a lack of activity, it was agreed upon by ZeBoss and xClavice (leaders of Novaterra and Westportia respectively) would declare Westportia a protectorate of Novaterra.
